VIA 6414 leads the Canadian #1 west,  Contributor's Pick!
The Canadian is west bound on the CN at Coniston, Ont. It got as far as Sudbury (@5 miles from here) and a CN derailment stopped #1's progress west. It was then detoured over the CP. What a treat for the passengers to go over the north shore of Lake Superior, a scenic wonder for sure.

Earl Minnis General That's some passenger train, Jack. You couldn't even fit it all into the scene. This was always a good place to shoot. Sudbury and area sure is a lot greener than it was 20 years ago. Nice Oh Canada album. 11/27/2006 8:30:19 PM
Ron Moraca General Fabulous photo, Jack! How long was that train!? 10/20/2008 8:33:10 PM
